About The Position

Contentful is seeking a visionary Senior Data Product Manager to join our growing Data team. In this pivotal role, you will own Insight360 - Contentful’s central data platform - and shape how the entire organisation uses data to make smarter, faster, and more confident decisions. As the bridge between business stakeholders, analysts, and data engineering, you will define the strategy and roadmap that turns Insight360 into a trusted, easy-to-use platform powering analytics, AI, and operational insights across all teams. You’ll be a key member of the Data Leadership Team, helping to evolve our data strategy, improve data governance, and foster a truly data-driven culture. Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Data Product Management, or an equivalent blend of product and data leadership experience.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to bridge business strategy and technical execution.
  • Strong understanding of the modern data stack (including Snowflake, dbt, Atlan, Tableau, etc.).
  • Proven experience defining and managing data product roadmaps and delivering value through cross-functional teams.
  • Deep understanding of data lifecycle management, data modeling concepts, and data governance principles.
  • Analytical mindset - comfortable connecting data to business outcomes and identifying opportunities for impact.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience enabling AI/ML and advanced analytics use cases.
  • Background in SaaS, CMS, or Digital Experience Platforms.
  • Experience building or supporting data fluency and data culture initiatives.
  • Product certifications (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, AIPMM, or Agile/Scrum Product Owner).

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the Insight360 strategy and roadmap in alignment with Contentful’s strategic business objectives.
  • Translate business goals into clear, measurable data capabilities and outcomes that drive decision-making across the company.
  • Define, refine, and prioritize Insight360’s feature backlog - including user stories, acceptance criteria, NFRs, and success metrics - to ensure efficient and high-value delivery.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in Finance, Sales, CX, Marketing, and Product to understand data needs and accelerate adoption of data-driven practices.
  • Act as the voice of the business within data teams, ensuring usability, reliability, and accessibility of data products.
  • Champion data culture by communicating product updates, releases, and success stories - and supporting our Data Fluency program to make “data-first” a company-wide mindset.
  • Drive continuous improvement - gather feedback, run data product discovery, and measure adoption to iterate toward a best-in-class experience.
  • Shape the long-term data vision - collaborating with Data team and Analytics teams to enable scalable, self-service, and innovative data solutions.
  • Lead through influence - Contribute to the Data Governance Council, help to define cross-functional ways of working and be a thought leader on data innovation.
