Senior Data Management Consultant
About The Position
ShadowObjects, LLC is seeking a Senior Data Management Consultant to support the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Procurement (DASN(P)). This role is responsible for leading enterprise-level data governance initiatives within a complex DoD environment. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in developing and implementing data governance programs, with deep expertise in data quality, metadata management, data architecture, and data lineage. This individual must also possess strong analytical and visualization skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with senior and executive leadership.
Requirements
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Master’s degree in Information Management, Information Systems, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in data governance and data management
- Proven experience leading data governance initiatives in large, complex organizations
- Experience delivering technical training and supporting change management initiatives
- Strong knowledge of Federal and DoD data management policies and regulations
- Experience leading data rationalization efforts, including identifying and eliminating redundant data collection and improving reporting efficiency
