SGP Recruiting provides both operations and strategic support to Tribal 8(a) and commercial organizations. Our client is a family of SBA-certified Native American Tribal 8(a) and multi-certified companies delivering IT, management consulting, and general construction solutions to the Federal Government and commercial sector. They are seeking a Senior Data Management Analyst to join them on a proposal effort. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in developing, maintaining, and managing data systems and documentation within a secure DoD environment. This role requires advanced technical, organizational, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to support mission-critical data processes for Navy programs. Work Location: On-site; not remote: Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), Dahlgren, VA. Employment would begin upon contract award

  • Develop, manage, and maintain data repositories, document libraries, and configuration-controlled information systems supporting NSWCDD mission requirements.
  • Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, metadata records, and version-controlled artifacts.
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of program data in accordance with Navy and DoD policies.
  • Support data lifecycle management including collection, storage, retrieval, archiving, and destruction of program information.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews to validate data completeness, consistency, and compliance with program standards.
  • Coordinate with program managers, engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure data requirements are met.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word) and Windows-based tools to organize, track, and present data.
  • Maintain audit logs, configuration baselines, and documentation supporting internal and external reviews.
  • Implement data governance practices in alignment with DoD cybersecurity and information assurance guidelines.
  • Support reporting efforts, briefings, and deliverables related to data management activities.
  • Ensure all systems and processes adhere to IAM III cybersecurity requirements.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Six years of professional experience in data management, documentation development, configuration management, or information systems management.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a Windows environment with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and updating documentation and/or data management systems.
  • Ability to work with technical teams, program leadership, and government stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational discipline, and quality-control skillset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a T3-level background investigation.
  • Ability to meet IAM Level III certification requirements (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CASP+, GSLC).
  • Must sign Letter of Intent.
