The firm is currently seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join their Enterprise Business Solutions - Technology team. This role offers significant growth potential, flexibility, and a collaborative work environment, with the option for fully remote work, although occasional office visits may be required. In this position, the Senior Data Engineer will lead collaboration with Data Engineers and other internal stakeholders to develop solutions that enhance data insights, analytics, and actionable triggers. The role involves utilizing a comprehensive range of data technologies to create new data patterns and establish best practices for managing large datasets. Reporting directly to the Manager of Data Engineering, the Senior Data Engineer will work closely with various internal IT teams, business units, and potentially external vendors to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of data solutions. Key responsibilities include designing and directing the building of data pipelines using Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory, acting as a point of escalation for troubleshooting data-related issues, and leading a team of Data Engineers in analyzing existing software programs and technology processes. The Senior Data Engineer will also be responsible for gathering and analyzing data for business projects, mapping underlying processes and data flows, and developing reports and data extraction as requested by other teams. Additionally, the role involves implementing new technology for firm use and creating roadmaps to guide and monitor usage.
