Engineering and data are central to how we operate, and we invest in building modern, scalable systems from the ground up. We are currently rebuilding our core platform, including a complete revamp of our BI and data processing capabilities, creating an exciting opportunity to shape how modern analytics is designed and implemented. We are hiring a Senior Data Engineer to help design and build our next-generation data platform. You will play a key role in creating a scalable, high-performance data ecosystem that powers analytics, reporting, and business-critical functions such as invoicing and financial insights. This is a hands-on role within a small, collaborative team, offering strong ownership and the opportunity to influence architecture, tooling, and best practices from the ground up.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Data Engineering or Data Platform development
- Hands-on experience building scalable data pipelines and processing systems
- Experience with streaming technologies (e.g. Kafka or similar)
- Strong knowledge of SQL and data modelling
- Experience with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL or similar)
- Experience working with reporting and analytics tools (e.g. Power BI)
- Solid understanding of data lake and data warehousing concepts
- Ability to work across teams and understand end-to-end data flows
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong ownership
Nice To Haves
- Experience in iGaming, fintech, SaaS, or other platform-based businesses
- Exposure to financial or billing data use cases
- Experience working with large-scale, event-driven systems
- Experience working in regulated environments
Responsibilities
- Design and build a modern data platform to support analytics and reporting
- Develop and maintain data pipelines (batch and streaming)
- Implement real-time or near-real-time data processing solutions
- Collect and centralise data from game servers, integrations, and operator systems
- Support and evolve a data lake architecture
- Enable reporting, analytics, and financial calculations through robust data models
- Ensure data quality, validation, and consistency across systems
- Build and maintain reporting solutions and dashboards (Power BI)
- Collaborate with platform, game server, and integration teams to standardise data flows
- Work closely with Finance to support billing accuracy and reporting needs
- Contribute to best practices in modern data architecture and analytics
- Mentor and support junior team members
