About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Data Engineer to join
our Consulting Services organization.  The Senior Data Engineer will be a
hands‑on builder of a cloud‑native, centralized data platform with end‑to‑end
traceability -- architecting the data model, owning database management
(performance, security, reliability), building ETL pipelines, and configuring /
administering Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and other analytic tools to deliver
trusted results.

Requirements

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or database management
• Deep understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and star/snowflake schemas
• Hands-on experience with designing and implementing data warehousing and analytics
• Hands-on experience with data transformations, data extractions from various sources of data, data processing and data load into Oracle or other relational databases
• Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and data lineage practices
• Understanding of Linux, Unix, and networking fundamentals
• Strong expertise in Oracle Database technologies (e.g., Oracle RDBMS)
• Proven experience with SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle partitioning, and performance tuning
• Strong knowledge of ETL pipeline design and implementation for large-scale data systems
• Proficiency in shell scripting, Python, or other automation tools
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams including data scientists, DBAs, and business analysts
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for documenting and presenting solutions
