About The Position

Help us bridge the gap between complex financial filings and actionable insights for the federal government. You will manage and evolve sophisticated data pipelines that transform massive volumes of XBRL and securities data into high-performance relational databases. By structuring this data for mission-critical web applications, you ensure that federal analysts have the reliable, real-time information they need to maintain fair and transparent financial markets. Requirements

US Citizenship (no dual citizenship permitted)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field from an accredited university or college.
8+ years of professional experience in data engineering or backend systems development with a focus on Python, Java, and Linux-based systems.
Proven track record of architecting production-grade data pipelines within AWS that transform complex unstructured or semi-structured data (such as XML/XBRL) into high-performance relational databases.
Deep technical expertise in SQL Server, including advanced schema design and performance tuning to support high-traffic web applications.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in a technical or quantitative field
Professional certifications in AWS (Solutions Architect or Data Engineer)
Familiarity with XBRL standards or securities-market data structures
Experience collaborating with web developers to optimize API-to-database interactions
