We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize robust data pipelines that power enterprise analytics and executive reporting. In this role, you will build scalable, high-performance datasets that drive key business insights and support decision-making across multiple domains. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and engineering teams to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and consistency. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
  • 12+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering, with at least 4 years supporting Marketing, Sales, or Finance functions.
  • Expert-level SQL skills and experience building large, performant datasets for BI tools such as Tableau.
  • Deep familiarity with modern cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
  • Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, or lightweight data transformations.
  • Hands-on experience with dbt and scalable analytics codebases.
  • Strong understanding of business tools like Salesforce, Marketo, and People.ai.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of explaining technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
  • Experience optimizing data pipelines and monitoring data quality for executive reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable, high-performance data models and SQL-based pipelines for enterprise analytics and reporting.
  • Develop modular and well-documented dbt models to standardize business logic across datasets.
  • Optimize large datasets in cloud-based warehouses such as Snowflake, focusing on performance, efficiency, and usability.
  • Implement automated validation processes to ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and data analysts to translate reporting requirements into reliable, intuitive datasets.
  • Translate business goals into technical implementations, ensuring consistent metrics and KPI definitions across reporting layers.
  • Monitor and fine-tune data workflows, SQL queries, and cloud resources to enhance performance and optimize costs.
