About The Position

As a Data Engineer on the IT Enterprise Planning Analytics team, you will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of data scientists, engineers, architects, and analysts on a wide range of business and technical problems. Supporting Oracle EPM, your primary mission is to ensure the seamless operation and optimization of Oracle Enterprise Performance Management systems. You will play a crucial role in designing and maintaining data pipelines, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with stakeholders to meet data requirements. Your expertise will drive the performance and reliability of EPM applications, safeguarding data integrity and enhancing overall system efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data engineering, database management, and supporting Oracle EPM systems.
  • Experience writing and maintaining Groovy scripts to enhance build, deployment, and testing processes.
  • A combination of education, training, and experience may be considered instead of a degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years' progressive experience in a related field is required.
  • Proficiency in SQL, ETL tools, and Oracle EPM applications (e.g., Hyperion Planning, Financial Management).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Oracle EPM certifications are a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with cloud-based EPM solutions.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of financial processes and reporting.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
  • Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong knowledge designing, implementing, migrating, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to support Oracle EPM applications.
  • Provide technical support for Oracle EPM systems, including troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of EPM applications to ensure efficient data processing and reporting.
  • Manage and maintain databases related to Oracle EPM, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Work closely with business analysts, finance teams, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Create and maintain documentation for data processes, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Implement and maintain data security measures to protect sensitive information within Oracle EPM systems.
