About The Position

Playnetic is an innovative and fast-growing player in the iGaming industry, creating cutting-edge casino games and technology globally. The company is technology-led, building scalable B2B gaming platforms that are cloud-native, highly available, and built with automation and reliability at their core. Engineering and data are central to their operations. Playnetic is currently rebuilding its core platform, including a complete revamp of its BI and analytics capabilities. This role is for a Senior BI & Power BI Analytics Expert, focused on hands-on Power BI development, analytics, and business reporting. The expert will work closely with the data platform, owning the delivery of high-quality dashboards, reporting, and insights. The position involves partnering with Product, Finance, Compliance, and Engineering teams to enable data-driven decision-making and support critical areas like financial and regulatory reporting. This is a highly impactful role with strong ownership, contributing to shaping BI standards, reporting frameworks, and self-service analytics capabilities across the organization.

Requirements

Strong experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data-focused roles
Advanced hands-on experience with Power BI (dashboarding, DAX, data modelling)
Strong understanding of data modelling for analytics (e.g. star schemas)
Excellent SQL skills and experience working with structured data
Experience delivering business-critical reporting and insights
Ability to work cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong attention to detail, particularly around data accuracy and validation
A proactive, ownership-driven mindset

Nice To Haves

Experience in iGaming, fintech, SaaS, or platform-based businesses
Exposure to regulatory or compliance reporting (e.g. MGA, UKGC)
Experience working with financial or billing data
Familiarity with modern data platforms and pipelines

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports across business, finance, operations, and compliance
Develop semantic data models (Power BI datasets, star schemas) optimised for performance and scalability
Translate business requirements into clear, insightful visualisations and KPIs
Enable and enhance self-service BI, empowering stakeholders to explore data independently
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reconciliation across all reporting outputs
Partner with Engineering teams to improve data structures for reporting and analytics use cases
Build and maintain regulatory and compliance reporting (e.g. MGA, UKGC), ensuring auditability and traceability
Optimise report performance, refresh strategies, and query efficiency
Support ad-hoc analysis, deep dives, and executive reporting
Establish and promote BI best practices, including governance, documentation, and version control
