About The Position

Responsible for functions to include oversight of day-to-day data operations for the IR interventional radiology (IR) scheduling functions across the health system's Interventional Radiology Services. This includes the trauma hospital, imaging centers and the ambulatory clinics. Schedules interventional radiology procedures, verifies accurate data entry, and ensures timely completion of documentation. Provides leadership to staff to accomplish department needs. Assists with hiring and retaining high quality staff in the department. Communicates frequently with radiologists, technologists, clinic staff, financial eligibility teams, and departmental leadership.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in radiology or medical scheduling required.
• Working knowledge of imaging modalities and medical terminology is essential.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or relevant college coursework in healthcare, business, or a related field preferred.
