Requirements

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience with Microsoft Windows, Windows Server OS.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience including supporting a multi-site Windows Active Directory Environment.
  • Experience with VMware ESXi and related technologies.
  • Knowledge of general enterprise IT principles and practices, including experience with both hardware and software architectures.
  • Familiar with M365 platform.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft System Center Suite (SCOM, SCORCH, SCEM).
  • Experience with Monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell Scripting and application packaging is a plus.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly research new platforms and issues.
  • Collaborative style and customer-service mindset with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of people at all levels.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Independent, adaptive worker with a sense of urgency in a complex and changing working environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience in a 24x7x365 service delivery model supporting mission-critical business operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of PowerShell Scripting and application packaging.

Responsibilities

  • Support the AlixPartners Server environment as a key member of the IT Infrastructure Operations team.
  • Perform daily systems management and tuning, including maintenance and trend analysis of the data center infrastructure.
  • Provide day-to-day technical, administrative, and functional support for AlixPartners infrastructure systems.
  • Participate in the maintenance and support of performance monitoring platforms and tools.
  • Act as a point of contact with global power footprint for all offices and datacenters.
  • Support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, Intune, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Conduct compliance maintenance patching for Windows Operating Systems and 3rd party applications.
  • Support a multi-site Windows Active Directory Environment.
  • Conduct routine hardware and software audits of all supported systems to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, procedures, and requirements.
  • Run automation tasks and scripting modifications.
  • Acquire knowledge of the various 3rd party packaged software applications and custom solutions used to provide system monitoring, management, and reporting within the AlixPartners environment.
  • Ensure stable implementation and support of enterprise servers, as well as VMware ESXi environments.
  • Participate in the creation (or modification) of documentation activities related to system configuration, policies, and procedures.
