The Senior Data Architect & Analytics Lead</b> is responsible for designing, building, and governing enterprise data architectures that support advanced analytics initiatives for the HHSC CDA team. This role focuses on developing robust relational databases, data warehouses, and cloud -based data platforms to enable data -driven decision -making. The position provides technical leadership in data modeling, analytics strategy, and enterprise data standards while ensuring accessibility and compliance requirements are met. The Senior Data Architect collaborates closely with cross -functional teams, including data engineers, developers, and analysts, to ensure seamless data integration and usability. This role plays a critical part in aligning data strategy with organizational and healthcare transformation goals.

  • Design, build, and maintain relational databases, data warehouses, and multidimensional databases.
  • Develop and implement enterprise data architectures to support analytics and reporting initiatives.
  • Create and maintain formal relational and enterprise data models, including metadata registries.
  • Design and optimize database and table structures for efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Lead advanced analytics initiatives and provide guidance on data modeling and analytics best practices.
  • Develop and manage ETL pipelines, data integrations, and APIs for enterprise and cloud platforms.
  • Ensure enterprise data standards are applied to optimize organizational strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to align data strategies.
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and big data analytics.
  • Ensure database administration tools, reports, and interfaces comply with EIR Accessibility standards.
  • 10 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing across on -prem and cloud environments.
  • 10 years of experience with business intelligence and big data solutions.
  • 10 years of experience leading and managing advanced analytics projects.
  • 10 years of experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • 10 years of experience developing, deploying, and managing cloud -based applications and data storage.
  • 10 years of strong knowledge of data architecture principles and best practices.
  • 10 years of proficiency in SQL and database technologies.
  • 10 years of experience with advanced analytics tools and strategies.
  • 10 years of experience with ETL tools, data integration platforms, and APIs.
  • 10 years of experience with EHR integration, APIs, and real -time streaming.
  • 10 years of experience architecting ETL pipelines using Informatica tools.
  • 10 years of experience designing cloud -based data architectures using Snowflake.
  • 10 years of strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non -technical audiences.
