About The Position

As a Senior Data Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of advanced data models and analytics solutions that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. Your role will involve overseeing the development and optimization of scalable data pipelines, ensuring the integration and transformation of data from a variety of sources. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and customers to understand their data needs and develop thoughtful reports and dashboards to drive insights.

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience in a data engineering or analytics engineering role, ideally partnering with product stakeholders.
• 4+ years of experience applying SQL, Data Warehousing, and ETL optimization techniques, especially within cloud-based data warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.).
• 3+ years of experience with data transformation and pipeline tools like DBT (Data Built Tool) and Airbyte (ELT).
• 3+ years of experience with PowerBI (preferably) or similar data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.).
• 3+ years of experience with product analytic tools such as Pendo, Amplitude, or Mixpanel.
• 3+ years of experience working remotely and with dispersed teams.
• Ability to travel up to 5% domestically.
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
• Analytically-minded, bringing data solutions and business impact together while having autonomy in managing cross-functional projects.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Familiarity with additional programming languages (Python, R).
• Knowledge of machine learning and statistical analysis methods.

Responsibilities

• Data Discovery and Data Modeling: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions for effective data analysis and reporting.
• Develop and optimize data models to ensure accuracy and efficiency in data transformation processes.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across all data platforms and tools.
• Data Engineering and Transformation: Design, build, and maintain scalable and robust data pipelines using dbt (data build tool).
• Manage and optimize data integration processes from various sources like Salesforce and Pendo.
• Data Visualization and Insights: Create insightful dashboards and visualizations, aiding decision-making processes across the organization.
• Communicate data insights effectively to stakeholders, translating technical concepts into clear and actionable recommendations.
