Senior Data Analyst

About the position

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, he/she will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to drive decision-making and improve business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Gather data from multiple sources, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of the data.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA), apply statistical techniques, and identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in the data.
• Create clear, actionable reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders, using tools like Excel or similar.
• Clean and preprocess data to remove inconsistencies, handle missing values, and format data for analysis.
• Work closely with other departments (such as business, product, or operations) to understand their data needs and deliver insights that help achieve business goals.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with data or reports, and recommend improvements in processes and systems.

Requirements

• Understand Global Freight Forwarding business processes/problems and provide solutions.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying databases (SQL, Oracle, etc).
• Develop automated systems for data processing and reporting using programming languages like Python, R, or SQL.
• Strong problem-solving ability, with attention to detail and the ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
• Ability to present data and insights clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
