Position Summary... The Senior Data Analyst owns the end-to-end operation of Walmart’s potential adverse event detection and reporting pipeline for Data Ventures Health & Wellness products. Sourced largely from customer perception surveys and feedback, this role sits at the intersection of advanced analytics, clinical judgment, and regulatory compliance—ensuring potential adverse events are accurately reviewed, documented, and reported in line with FDA and global pharmacovigilance standards. You will operate a technology-assisted review system, lead supplier audit responses, and help scale a compliant, audit ready safety program across new product categories. What you'll do... Operate the daily review queue by triaging and verifying system flagged potential adverse events using clinical and regulatory judgment. Review and document data extracted from customer perception surveys, ensuring clear clinical rationale and accurate record-keeping for every decision. Maintain FDA FAERS aligned reporting processes, complete audit trails, and ensure full chain of custody documentation. Serve as the primary point of contact for supplier audits related to review methodology and potential adverse event detection. Prepare and present audit evidence packages, clearly explaining technology-assisted detection workflows in business appropriate language. Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Quality teams to ensure regulatory readiness and zero material audit findings. Contribute reviewer feedback into system optimization processes, directly improving tool precision and detection logic over time. Support year one initiatives including supplier audit response framework development, and SOX compliance certification. Monitor success metrics including review queue clearance times, detection accuracy, and documentation completeness. What you’ll bring… Domain Expertise: Pharmacovigilance, clinical safety, regulatory affairs, or healthcare quality experience with a strong understanding of potential adverse events from a clinical and compliance perspective. Audit Experience: Direct experience participating in or responding to audits, including evidence preparation and auditor engagement (e.g., QA, compliance, SOX, ISO, regulatory inspections). Technical Translation: Ability to translate technical or algorithmic concepts into clear, nontechnical explanations for external and internal stakeholders. Technical Proficiency: Data analysis skills, including intermediate SQL (joins, aggregations), Excel pivot tables, and basic reporting or visualization. Compliance Mindset: Exceptional documentation discipline with a demonstrated ability to clearly justify and record regulated decisions. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in highvisibility or regulated environments. Adaptability: Comfort operating in ambiguity while building new processes, SOPs, and governance frameworks. The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
