About The Position

Archimedes is a specialty drug management company with an industry-leading technology platform that health plans and employer groups can use to manage specialty drug spend. We are expanding our team and looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in healthcare analytics. This position will report to the VP of Analytics and will be responsible for the day-to-day importing, exporting, distributing, analyzing, and reporting of healthcare data. Given our growth trajectory, we are looking for a person who can grow with the company, learning new skills and assuming an expanding role.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts required.
Hands-on experience with data engineering or data analysis in a production environment required.
Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL workflows required.
Experience with Excel and data visualization tools such as PowerBI required.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in a quantitative field.

Nice To Haves

Experience with healthcare data or other highly regulated industries preferred.
Experience with SSMS preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, maintain, and optimize data pipelines (ETL/ELT) supporting analytics, reporting, and operational workflows.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
Write efficient SQL queries and work with tools such as SSMS, PowerBI, and Excel.
Analyze, model, and validate data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability.
Promote data stewardship and governance best practices.
Identify opportunities for automation, scalability, and continuous improvement.
Navigate and improve organically grown legacy systems while contributing to modernization initiatives.
Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance, people and culture, and learning programs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
