Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria with Time investment Needed on Each: (This will describe the overall core responsibilities of the role, decision making responsibilities etc.) • Collecting and cleansing data from multiple systems/sources, transforming data to the required format/structure, analyzing/interpreting data to find patterns or trends, and designing and developing dashboards to provide a consolidated graphical view of data. • Contributes to a range of activities, including facilitating communication and collaboration with- and among stakeholders and project team members; coordinating activities, schedules, and deliverables; generating documentation and process maps; creating summaries and presentations to effectively communicate results and recommendations, etc. • Design, develop, and deploy reports and dashboards (data visualization) based on technical specifications provided by the Senior Business Analyst. • Generate information and insights from datasets to answer key business questions. • Generate documentation or presentations to communicate the results of data analysis. • Identify and analyze trends and patterns using statistical tools. • Work with project, business, and/or IT teams to secure access to relevant systems, such as data sources, data warehouses, BI workspaces, etc. • Lead continuous improvement projects to develop the BI Development team's standards, tools, and best practices. • Support strategic initiatives under Global Business Services programs. Qualifications: Required/ Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or Engineering. • At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar or related capacity (data analyst) in a multi-national company • High proficiency in SQL (MSSQL, Oracle, Impala, etc.) and related programming extensions • High proficiency in Power BI/Tableau or other interactive data visualization software • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other MS Office productivity tools • Working knowledge of programming languages (Python, R, etc.) for statistical analysis is a major plus. • Process-oriented thinker who believes the right process will bring the right results. • Intellectual curiosity about determining root causes to solve complex problems. • Strong attention to detail. Attentive to detail and accuracy, performs quality work, continuously looks for improvements, owns/acts on problems, and seeks opportunities to increase effectiveness and efficiency. • Clearly exchanges thoughts, ideas, and messages through written, verbal, and non-verbal methods that promote an understanding of the target audience. • Creates accurate and punctual reports, and shares information and ideas with others promptly. • Listens carefully and attentively.
