Across our digital and instore experiences, we’re transforming how customers shop — and data sits at the center of this transformation. Our eCommerce Analytics team is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to help accelerate growth across our 1stparty digital platforms and 3rdparty delivery partners including Instacart and DoorDash. This hybrid role is based in Pleasanton, CA - 4 days in office, 1 day remote - this is subject to change due to management expectations. The Senior Data Analyst will play a critical role in shaping how we measure, understand, and optimize eCommerce performance. You will partner with business leaders, product teams, and operations to deliver insights that drive growth, improve customer experience, and enhance operational efficiency. This role is ideal for an analytically minded, intellectually curious professional excited to leverage data — and increasingly AIpowered analytics — to solve meaningful business problems at scale.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, MIS, or related field; or equivalent analytical experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in analytics within eCommerce, operations, fulfillment, finance, or a similar domain.
  • Experience building automated dashboards and scalable reporting frameworks using one or more BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.
  • Strong proficiency with SQL
  • Exposure to predictive analytics, machine learning concepts, or AIdriven analysis and familiarity with Python, R, or similar datascience tools.
  • Experience with data platforms such as Snowflake, Teradata, BigQuery, or similar.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to transform data into insights and communicate findings to technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce or digitalproduct data (traffic, conversion, assortment, fulfillment, etc.).
  • Strong business intuition and interest in consumer behavior and digital retail trends.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of eCommerce performance metrics and design new KPIs that measure customer behavior, digital funnel health, and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular and adhoc analyses to surface trends, rootcause performance drivers, and identify actionable opportunities for growth.
  • Build and automate dashboards and reports that scale across teams and enable datadriven decisionmaking.
  • Structure and maintain highquality datasets, ensuring reliability and consistency across business processes.
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate data exploration, automate recurring analyses, and enhance insight generation.
  • Develop AIassisted alerts and monitoring systems to proactively flag opportunities or operational risks.
  • Collaborate with Data Science teams to incorporate predictive modeling and machine learning into business workflows.
  • Explore emerging AI technologies to improve the speed, depth, and impact of analytics deliverables.
  • Serve as a trusted analytical partner to eCommerce, product, marketing, supply chain, store operations, and 3rdparty delivery partners.
  • Translate complex data into compelling stories and clear recommendations for business leaders.
  • Work with stakeholders to define analytical requirements, prioritize insights, and drive alignment on initiatives.
  • Support efforts to improve instore and digital customer experiences through more actionable, integrated performance measurement.
