About The Position

The Data Analyst plays a strategic role in the delivery of high-impact reporting, analytics, and data insights that drive business performance and strategic decision-making. In addition to core reporting responsibilities, this role leads data initiatives, mentors interns, and acts as a key advisor to senior leadership. The Data Analyst is responsible for the development, refinement, and oversight of reporting tools and methodologies, ensuring data integrity, driving innovation, and influencing departmental and organizational strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; Master’s preferred
  • 2-3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related roles
  • Proven experience leading complex analytical projects from concept to execution
  • Advanced SQL skills; ability to optimize complex queries and work with large-scale datasets
  • Expert-level Excel skills and strong experience with data modeling
  • Deep experience with BI and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.)
  • Strong proficiency in Python or R for advanced analytics, automation, and modeling
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.)
  • Familiarity with ETL tools and data pipeline design
  • Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making
  • Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills
  • High attention to detail and strong data governance mindset
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, problem-solving approach
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Exceptional ability to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable insights
  • Comfortable presenting to executives and leading data-driven discussions

Responsibilities

  • Own the development, refinement, and automation of reporting solutions across daily, weekly, and monthly intervals for KPIs, revenue performance, productivity, and forecasting.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify performance trends, opportunities, and risks related to sales, booking behaviors, and agent metrics across channels (phone, chat, email).
  • May serve as a key advisor to department leadership by delivering strategic insights and providing data-driven recommendations to support short- and long-term planning.
  • Lead cross-functional reporting initiatives in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Finance, WFM, and QA teams.
  • Mentor and train interns by providing guidance, oversight, and feedback on report design, data interpretation, and best practices.
  • Oversee cross-functional projects as needed ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with business goals.
  • Own the documentation and governance of data sources, metric definitions, reporting protocols, and change control processes.
  • Develop executive dashboards and presentations using tools such as Tableau, Excel, or SQL.
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements in data architecture, reporting workflows, and analysis processes.
  • Lead special projects related to data strategy, tool implementation, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Ensure adherence to data privacy, accuracy, and reporting compliance standards.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for reporting systems, tools, and data structure across the department.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
