About The Position

The Senior Data Analyst supports cross-functional teams across the organization by delivering data, reporting, and insights that drive risk management, credit policy, profitability, and decision-making throughout the lending lifecycle. This role partners with stakeholders across underwriting, servicing, collections, finance, and leadership to monitor portfolio performance and drive business decisions through data-driven insights and analytics. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical and critical thinking skills within lending or financial services, advanced SQL expertise, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations. Requirements

  • S. degree or higher in Data Science, Statistics, or equivalent quantitative field
  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics within Credit Risk / Finance – related industry or 5+ years of experience in data analytics overall
  • Proven ability to aggregate, extract, validate, and analyze large datasets using complex SQL queries
  • Advanced knowledge of credit and default risk and prior experience designing frameworks to detect and monitor delinquent and at-risk assets
  • Hands-on experience building and publishing customized and interactive dashboards within Tableau
  • Advanced level of MS Excel skills, including advanced formulas, pivots and data tables
  • Passionate about solving problems with data and high level of intellectual curiosity
  • Highly motivated to work on multiple projects in parallel and team player with a startup spirit
  • Very strong written and oral communication skills, with proven ability to translate complex analysis into actionable insights to a non-technical audience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with cloud-based data technologies such as Snowflake or similar
  • Working knowledge or experience in data collection, transformation, and storage from various sources including relational databases, APIs, logs, and unstructured files

Responsibilities

  • Analyze loan, customer, and portfolio data to identify trends, segments, and performance drivers that support credit and business objectives
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze large datasets for reporting and insights
  • Support underwriting, servicing, and collections teams with data-driven insights related to credit performance and customer behavior
  • Develop and maintain reporting for Finance and Accounting, including audit readiness, securitization reporting, and external investor deliverables
  • Build and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports tracking KPIs across various business functions
  • Partner closely with IT and data engineers to ensure data accuracy, accessibility and reliable reporting outputs
  • Present insights and recommendations to credit leadership and key stakeholders
