About The Position

Senior Data Analyst acts as a subject matter expert on Rochester Regional Health operational data. Mines data and provides guidance on what the data means. LOCATION: ElderONE- Administrative Office DEPARTMENT: EO HEALTH INFO MGMT SCHEDULE: Full-Time, Day shift, 8:00am-4:30pm ATTRIBUTES 3-5 years analytics or business-related experience preferred Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and/or accounting preferred. For ElderONE only: 1 year of experience working with a frail or elderly population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather and confirm user requirements for various analytics projects.
• Recommend, deploy and manage the implementation of business intelligence, data visualization, and reporting tools.
• Use Excel functions to maintain and develop/maintain operational tools (e.g. Pivot tables, Slicers, V lookups & H lookups).
• Leverage available tools to automate and streamline manual reports.
• Improve systems by studying current practices, designing modifications.
• Use statistical methods to identify areas for operational improvement and make suggestions for streamlining processes.
• Effectively uses critical thinking skills and attention to detail to conduct a thorough analysis of market values, affordability, and internal operational factors to make programmatic recommendations to leadership.
• Follow established project, departmental, company procedures and quality standards.
