About The Position

ESP Associates is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our team. This position has the flexibility to report from several office locations including Tampa, FL; Lakeland, FL; Fort Mill, SC; Morrisville, NC; and Austin, TX. The Senior Data Analyst will play a critical role in expanding the ESP’s business intelligence and analytics capabilities. This position is responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making, operational efficiency, and business growth. The role partners closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to define metrics, develop scalable reporting and dashboards, and establish best practices for data governance and analytics. The Senior Data Analyst also serves as a mentor, helping elevate analytical maturity across the organization.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in developing business intelligence reports, dashboards, KPSs, and scorecards
  • 3+ years of development experience in Data Analytics technologies such as: Microsoft – Power BI Cliq Tableau
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with end-users and project teams
  • Dedication to providing quality customer service to both internal and external end-users
  • Ability to travel to other offices as needed
  • Candidate must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company’s driving (MVR) policy.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience with O365 and SharePoint administration and security configuration
  • Experience integrating financial/accounting systems, specifically Unanet, with business intelligence applications

Responsibilities

  • Design analytical tools, dashboards, and self-service solutions
  • Ability to translate complex statistical concepts into simple yet meaningful visualizations
  • Develop insightful content that supports business behavior and promotes change
  • Participate in business analysis activities to gather required reporting and dashboard requirements
  • Generate reports of KPI scorecards and effective dashboards after gathering and translating end-user requirements
  • Assist business users with functional and data requirements to enhance data models
  • Contribute to the development of reporting standards, including user interface design, information architecture, naming conventions, labeling, etc.
  • Design, develop and implement the report delivery mechanisms, including but not limited to O365 Integration (SharePoint, Teams, etc.), Power BI, Mobile, PDF tools / integration, etc.
  • Test and modify databases to ensure that they operate reliably
  • QA/QC or “data cleanse” various production databases and datasets
  • Establish a presence and collaborate with the company in growing the business intelligence practice
  • Maintain technical knowledge and stay up to date on technical advancements in primary functional areas or responsibility
