The Senior Data Analyst position is crucial for the Abbott Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) postmarket surveillance business, focusing on global data analysis activities. This role involves performance metrics, product complaint trending, development of monitoring dashboards, and database management. The Senior Data Analyst will serve as an internal liaison and subject matter expert for Complaint Handling and Data Warehouse database development, maintenance, and sustainment activities. The analyst will assist users in defining global or complex data reports by translating user needs into Data Warehouse reports using the Business Objects tool. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Manufacturing, and R&D, is essential to define and fulfill data reporting requirements on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Data analysis will cover various topics, including Global Performance Metrics, Product Complaint Trending, FDA Medical Device Reports, and EU Medical Device Vigilance Reports. The analyst will also support internal and external audits by preparing and providing relevant reports and analyses. Additional responsibilities include contributing to Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) Investigations, supporting company initiatives related to Quality Management Systems (QMS), and maintaining positive communication with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment. The role also involves trending and analytics for objective analysis of novel products and therapy modalities, ensuring that Abbott continues to lead in innovative healthcare solutions.
