As a Senior Data Analyst, Operations in Walmart's Last Mile Delivery Network Operations Center, you will be the data backbone of real-time decision-making during high-impact disruptions-ranging from holidays and major events to weather and system outages. In this fast-paced role, you'll analyze live metrics, develop dashboards and models, and deliver actionable insights that directly influence last-mile delivery execution. You'll collaborate with complex cross-functional teams to solve problems at scale and help shape how Walmart responds to dynamic operational challenges. This is a high-visibility role built for analytical thinkers who thrive under pressure.

  • Analyze large datasets to identify performance trends, root causes, and operational insights. Generate recurring and ad-hoc reports to inform strategic decisions and daily execution.
  • Monitor real-time metrics and support incident response by identifying issues, escalating critical items, and partnering cross-functionally to drive resolution and communication.
  • Build and maintain models (e.g., forecast, capacity, or scenario planning) that support operational and business decisions, using tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Excel.
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards that communicate performance clearly to business stakeholders, using tools such as Tableau.
  • Partner closely with operations managers, product teams, and field stakeholders to translate insights into coordinated actions. Act as the data lead during live events, helping drive decisions that ensure delivery quality and customer satisfaction.
  • 5+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries and building business intelligence reports using Tableau or Power BI.
  • Proven ability to define requirements, work with large datasets, and use data and metrics to generate meaningful business insights.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, real-time environment; able to quickly adapt to changing priorities and support incident response with data.
  • Experience making data-driven business recommendations and influencing cross-functional stakeholders across operations, product, and leadership teams.
  • Effective communicator who can clearly explain analysis and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Data science, data analysis, statistics, or related field.
  • Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • Related industry experience (for example, retail, merchandising, healthcare, eCommerce).
  • Successful completion of assessments in data analysis and Business Intelligence tools and scripting languages (for example, SQL, Python, Spark, Scala, R, Power BI, or Tableau).
