As a Senior Data Analyst, you will understand and contextualize business processes to develop analytics solutions that balance operational priorities and efficiency. You will utilize analytic platforms and data governance strategies to create a seamless experience for users. Working closely with stakeholders, you will define key metrics, develop scalable dashboards, and effectively communicate progress. Your role will involve identifying and troubleshooting unanticipated complex data problems or unexpected results and providing solutions to resolve identified concerns. You will perform modeling and analysis of structured and unstructured datasets to develop metrics, reports, visualizations of trends and patterns, and predictive analytics. Additionally, you will gather and confirm user requirements for various analytics projects, develop and implement efficient data collection strategies, and perform required data cleaning and manipulation before analyses. You will also automate the collection and analysis of large data sets from customer systems and third-party services, lead end-to-end ETL processes, and leverage Safe Software FME and related tools to design, automate, and optimize workflows for data transformation, validation, and delivery. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing scalable ETL solutions, interacting with stakeholders to create and leverage business intelligence capabilities, recommending and managing the implementation of business intelligence tools, and staying current on the latest technologies and data engineering approaches. You will also support business development initiatives, mentor junior analysts, supervise staff, and comply with all KCI policies and procedures.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Geography, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
  • Minimum eight years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
  • Experience with data extraction, Safe Software FME, Python, SQL, Power Query, APIs, and ETL/data engineering tools.
  • Knowledgeable of data analysis methods and techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage information into data-driven decisions.
  • Motivated team player with experience working on multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work independently and produce high-quality deliverables.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Geography, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
