In this role, you'll transform multi-layered data into actionable insights that support better strategies and improved business outcomes. You will collaborate across teams to optimize data pipelines, improve governance, and ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Analysis and documentation of business requirements to translate them into data models aligned with organisational goals.
  • Development and maintenance of data dictionaries and glossaries to define data elements and their usage.
  • Analysis and monitoring of data usage patterns to identify opportunities for data optimisation and improvement, in partnership with the Data Base Administrator.
  • Strategic architecture definition and product selection.
  • Production of logical designs in relevant subject area (technical, data, operational), showing for example: processes, objects, data flows, inputs, stored data and outputs. Identifying common components.
  • Implementation of architectures and Identification, ownership and resolution of design related issues.
  • Definition and documentation of data architectures standards, principles and strategies.
  • Experience with designing and implementing data models and writing efficient SQL queries.
  • Experience building and automating scalable data pipelines using Python, Spark, or Azure Data Factory.
  • Experience applying analytics techniques, including machine learning and AI, to solve business problems.
  • Experience monitoring and maintaining data quality, lineage, and control frameworks.
  • Experience creating clear visual reports and dashboards using Power BI or Tableau.
  • Working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and big data tools.
  • Understanding data governance policies and compliance standards like BCBS239 or GDPR.
  • Collaborating effectively across teams and influencing stakeholder decisions.
  • Managing metadata, data documentation, and ensuring data consistency.
