About The Position
As New Jersey's premier academic health center, Rutgers Health takes an integrated approach to educating and training, providing clinical care, and conducting research, all with the goal of improving human health. Rutgers Health serves as the umbrella organization for eight schools, a behavioral health network, and eight major centers and institutes focused on improving human health. The Chancellor's Office is the administrative body that oversees the Rutgers Health Units; the Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Research (SVCAAR) oversees the Offices of Academic Affairs and of Research at Rutgers Health. Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Senior Data Analyst within the Academic Affairs and Research-RBHS Department. The Senior Data Analyst provides administrative, analytical, computing, and staff support for the SVCAAR and other departments within the RBHS Chancellor's Office. In this role, the Senior Data Analyst also executes assignments and tasks requiring data collection, information gathering, data entry/retrieval, and database maintenance utilizing a variety of software and analytic techniques. Additionally, the Senior Data Analyst prepares and/or compiles data for special reports and analysis, including the compilation and handling of confidential information and documents related to collective negotiations. In support of these efforts, the Senior Data Analyst assists in the review, analysis, and appraisal of current department administrative data and procedures, organization, and performance and helps to prepare recommendations for changes and/or revisions; does other related work as required.
