Prime Healthcare is actively seeking new members to join our corporate team! The Senior Cyber Security Specialist for the TRO Email Security team is a Level 2 position. The Senior Cyber Security Specialist should have strong understanding of Exchange, IMAP, POP, SMTP, DNS, MIME, S/MIME, 3rd party public & private email systems, and countermeasures to protect email security related protocols & platforms. Strong knowledge of Sender Policy Framework (SPF), Domain Key Identified Mail (DKIM), and Domain Message Authentication Reporting & Conformance (DMARC) concepts. The Senior Cyber Security Specialist will share technical knowledge and overall guidance on Email Security to other team members to ensure compliance objectives are upheld and security industry standard best practices are utilized.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Management or another relevant field.
- Minimum of 7 years relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of Exchange, IMAP, POP, SMTP, DNS, MIME, S/MIME, 3rd party public & private email systems, and countermeasures to protect email security related protocols & platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Sender Policy Framework (SPF), Domain Key Identified Mail (DKIM), and Domain Message Authentication Reporting & Conformance (DMARC) concepts.
Nice To Haves
- Product/platform-specific vendor training (Microsoft, Mimecast, ProofPoint, Cisco, Email Gateways, etc.)
- One or more training certificates or certifications related to messaging security or related fields such as CompTIA, OPSWAT, SANS, GIAC, ISC2, ISACA, EC-Council

- A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $104,000.00 to $170,560.00 on an annualized basis.
- The compensation estimate noted above is specific to California and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location.
- The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
