American Express is seeking a Sr Cybersecurity Engineer I who will be working on the Payment Crypto solutions team. You will be challenged with identifying innovative ideas and proof of concept to deliver against the existing and future needs of our internal customers. You will develop new solutions which will support the key elements protecting our data. You will be part of an enthusiastic, high performing technology team developing solutions to provide tools for our internal app teams.

Requirements

  • 8+ Years of software development experience in Java, Multi-threading, Spring framework
  • Strong experience writing SQL and using databases like SQL Server, Postgres etc.
  • Experience with Junit, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, XLR
  • Strong experience creating and communicating with REST and SOAP APIs
  • Experience with containerized app development for cloud platforms
  • Experience with Agile

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Crypto technologies Tokenization, Symmetric/Asymmetric Keys, PKI
  • Experience working with GitHub Copilot or similar other tools.
  • Experience with tools like Cucumber based BDD (Behavior driven Development), Sonar Qube
