ECS is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity DevOPs and Kubernetes Engineer to work remotely. The Senior Cybersecurity DevOps and Kubernetes Engineer is driven to solve complex business and data problems by developing and maintaining a Kubernetes based application environment that is configured through code. Using Data and AI, this Engineer will be responsible for developing a rapidly deployable Kubernetes architecture that is configured through code. This includes scripted deployments of Kubernetes clusters as well as maintaining automation that allows code update through a DevSecOps pipeline. This role helps enable ECS to continually deliver state of the art solutions for security and defense to its customers. To achieve these goals, a base knowledge of common technologies used for DevSecOps is required. Knowledge of Kubernetes and associated tools are a prerequisite as well as experience deploying and maintaining Kubernetes clusters. Knowledge of Git, Helm, and Istio are also musts. Knowledge of cloud native technologies and cloud providers are also important as well as experience with a cloud provider such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. While technical expertise is required, the ability to work within an organization to accomplish goals is an important part of this role. The Kubernetes Engineer will be expected to interface with a wide variety of teams and maintain relationships that enable successful integration of the disparate parts of an Enterprise class data and analytics solution. The Kubernetes Engineer will work with Data Scientists, Cloud Architects, and Analysts to ensure that clear data and analytics problems are being addressed and that the solution addresses the problem.
