About The Position

Lifescale Analytics is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Assessment & Authorization (A&A) Program Manager to support a federal client in managing enterprise security compliance and system lifecycle initiatives. This role leads complex cybersecurity programs involving system accreditation, application retirement, compliance reviews, and enterprise risk reduction across hundreds of information resources. The ideal candidate has deep experience managing security governance programs, guiding stakeholders through system decommissioning processes, and coordinating large-scale compliance initiatives across technical and executive teams. This is a high-visibility role supporting mission-critical cybersecurity initiatives where the Program Manager operates with significant independence and regularly briefs senior leadership. Requirements

  • A minimum of thirteen (13) to twenty (20) years’ relevant experience.
  • Works on high-visibility, or mission critical aspects of a given program, and performs all functional duties independently.
  • Oversees the efforts of direct reporting resources and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
  • Experience managing cybersecurity or information security initiatives
  • Proven experience managing multiple complex programs simultaneously
  • Experience supporting security accreditation / compliance processes
  • Experience managing system retirement or decommissioning projects
  • Strong experience creating project documentation, schedules, and governance artifacts
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and executive leadership
  • US Citizenship required
  • Must be eligible for a government security clearance
  • Must have lived in the United States continuously for the past 5 years
  • Candidates cannot have more than 6 months of international travel in the past 5 years (military exceptions apply)
  • Must pass background investigation, credit check, and drug screening

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of or experience with the SDLC Retirement/Decommission process.
  • Experience in information security and understanding of the information resource accreditation process.
  • Knowledge and understanding of cybersecurity policies and processes sufficient to review, understand and provide inputs to internal security policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training documents.
  • A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is preferred.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or similar credentials are preferred but not required.
  • four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a college degree is required.
  • If the individual's degree is not in the applicable field then four additional years of related experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • manage multiple projects from beginning to successful completion, including defining project scope and objectives, creating project plans/schedules, establishing and tracking metrics, and engaging with and guiding stakeholders at all management and leadership levels.
  • plan, coordinate, track and manage several ongoing and complex efforts, including: retirements and remnant clean-up of applications across the organization; revisions of outdated compliance reviews for hundreds of information resources; ongoing updates to vital documents.
  • advise application stakeholders through the process of application/systems retirements across large organizations, including verification of remnant removal, to minimize security risks to the organization.
  • create project-related and training documentation, and ability to prepare presentations and brief executives, managers, and peers.
  • review, understand and provide inputs to internal security policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training documents.
  • create SharePoint sites, including Team sites, and demonstrated experience in customizing and managing content on SharePoint sites, including documents, lists, and libraries.
  • Additional responsibilities at the manager's request.
