We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep experience in cybersecurity incident investigation, analysis, and response. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in analyzing vulnerability- and threat-related cybersecurity reporting and excels at developing clear, repeatable processes, including standard operating procedures and work instructions, to support effective and consistent cybersecurity operations.

Requirements

  • US Citizen (the nature of our contract requires employees be US citizens).
  • Top Secret clearance required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in investigating and responding to cybersecurity incidents.
  • Proven experience analyzing cybersecurity reports related to both vulnerabilities and threat actors.
  • Strong ability to develop and document repeatable processes for SOPs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on mitigating cyber risks.
  • Strong communication skills to present complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM are a plus.
  • Experience in federal contracting or working in a government-related cybersecurity environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the investigation, analysis, and response to cybersecurity incidents across complex environments.
  • Analyze and interpret cybersecurity reporting related to both vulnerabilities (environmental) and threats (actor-based) to identify risks, trends, and impacts.
  • Develop, document, and refine repeatable operational processes, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions (WIs), to enable consistent and effective cybersecurity operations.
  • Apply deep subject matter expertise to advise stakeholders and support mission-critical cybersecurity activities, drawing on 10+ years of relevant experience.
