About The Position

Peraton is seeking a Senior Cyber Software Engineer to join our high-performing Cyber Missions team in Annapolis Junction, MD. In this role, you’ll contribute to mission-critical software solutions that support national security, working alongside experienced engineers in a mature, Agile development environment. As a senior member of the team, you’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing robust Java-based applications. You’ll collaborate closely with other engineers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software while helping guide technical decisions and best practices. This position offers the opportunity to make a real impact while working on challenging and meaningful cyber missions. Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph
  • 20+ years of experience as a Software Engineer supporting programs of similar scope, complexity, and mission focus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 4 additional years of relevant software engineering experience in lieu of a degree
  • Experience developing, debugging, and testing software applications
  • Working knowledge of GitLab, Maven, JIRA, and Confluence
