About The Position

The Senior Cyber Security Specialist at Newell Brands is a pivotal role within the Information Security team, focusing on the security of AI-driven applications and solutions. Requirements

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in security engineering and AI architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of Machine Learning (ML), Generative AI, data analysis, and AI frameworks.
• Strong understanding of IT, Enterprise Networks, OT, and Cloud Security architecture.
• Extensive knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a critical and creative approach.
• Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex technical concepts effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and manage expectations.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identify and respond with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assess AI-driven solutions to determine they meet security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate AI technologies and initiatives, focusing on technical assessment, design solutions, and risk, as pertains to information security.
• Evaluate existing and proposed architectures, ensuring the integrity of Newell's systems, data, and standards while minimizing operational friction.
• Assess Cloud, OT, IoT, and mobile security solutions to determine compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support audit reviews, both internal and external, related to Newell Brands environments.
• Support all global Information Security initiatives across Newell Brands.
• Assist in incident response activities, when applicable.
• Create, maintain, and contribute to Information Security's policies and standards.
• Stay current with emerging security technologies, AI advancements, industry trends, and developments.
