About the position

The Senior Cyber Engineer Lead at Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is responsible for providing system management support with a focus on the design, specification, integration, and implementation of enterprise-wide management architecture. This role involves working on complex distributed networks with multiple classification enclaves and integrating with DoD C2 systems while utilizing associated information assurance processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide system management support focusing on design, specification, integration, and implementation of enterprise-wide management architecture.
• Manage complex distributed networks with multiple classification enclaves.
• Integrate with DoD C2 systems and ensure compliance with information assurance processes and procedures.
• Support implementation, configuration, and management of various technologies including network devices, server operating systems, and virtualization infrastructure.
• Oversee server application monitoring, VoIP telephony, and network/server management suites.
• Implement disaster recovery and data protection strategies.
• Apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and manage security compliance systems.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
• 3+ years of experience as Senior Cyber Engineer & Cyber Lead supporting a DOD program of similar size and scope.
• 5+ years of hands-on professional experience as Senior Cyber Engineer & Cyber Lead for program/project of similar size and scope.
• Experience with network devices (switches and routers), server operating systems, and virtualization infrastructure.
• Knowledge of VoIP telephony, SolarWinds, DHCP/DNS/IPAM, and Palo Alto firewall.
• Familiarity with SIEM, log management, and database management (Oracle and MS-SQL).
• Certifications: Server+ or Linux+, ISC2 CISSP, CSSP Infrastructure Support, CEH or Cloud+ or CySA or PenTest+ or SSCP.
