About The Position

ECS is seeking a Senior Cyber Analyst - TS Cleared  to work in a hybrid schedule in our Arlington, VA office   ECS is seeking talented professionals to join our successful and growing team supporting the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) Joint Cyber Defense Collaborative (JCDC). The JCDC is CISA’s flagship initiative for uniting government, industry, and international partners to proactively defend against cyber threats. Our ECS team is at the center of providing support to JCDC’s critical mission as they continue to plan, share, and respond to cyber threats in real time to support the greater cyber community.     The Senior Cyber Analyst provides authoritative technical analysis of vendor and supply chain risk to federal systems, directly informing executive decision-making and national-level risk mitigation strategies. This role combines deep, hands-on technical expertise with structured analysis to evaluate how technologies, vendors, and dependencies introduce systemic risk—and to produce defensible, decision-ready packages for senior review. The position is intended for a cybersecurity professional with extensive experience supporting federal cyber supply chain risk management and acquisition efforts.

Requirements

  • Experience across networked systems, hardware, software development, and enterprise architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting federal agencies in information security and cyber supply chain risk management.
  • Hands-on technical background sufficient to validate analytical conclusions and assess real-world feasibility.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex vendor risk into clear, executive-ready assessment packages.
  • US citizenship with an ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability (EOD) 
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years working within government organizations supporting cybersecurity risk management related policy - ideally with a focus on Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM)
  • Possess a TS security clearance and be SCI eligible at time of proposal submission 
  • Technical certifications reflecting hands-on cybersecurity and systems expertise—such as CompTIA Security+ or equivalent CompTIA certifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead in-depth technical analysis of vendor and cyber supply chain risk affecting federal networks, with emphasis on software, hardware, and third-party dependencies.
  • Assess complex technologies and ecosystems—including network infrastructure, cybersecurity appliances, emerging technologies, and semiconductor supply chains—to identify vulnerabilities, concentration risk, and compliance gaps.
  • Evaluate vendor trustworthiness through technical analysis, open-source intelligence, and government threat intelligence sources.
  • Apply nationally recognized risk frameworks and standards to prioritize cyber supply chain threats and assess potential impact to federal operations.
  • Produce high-impact analytical products, briefing materials, and vendor risk assessment packages supporting federal acquisition and risk acceptance decisions.
  • Support incident response and investigative efforts involving supply chain compromise or third-party risk, providing technically grounded findings and recommendations.
  • Drive analytical rigor across the Federal Acquisition Security Council’s related initiatives, ensuring vendor risk conclusions are consistent, defensible, and actionable.
