About The Position

beehiiv is the all-in-one newsletter and creator platform powering the next generation of media companies and independent voices. We help creators and businesses launch, grow, and monetize newsletters—now serving tens of thousands of publishers and reaching hundreds of millions of readers monthly. With $20M+ ARR, 100% YoY growth, and a newly expanded product suite (ad network, website builder, paid tiers), we’re entering our next phase of hypergrowth. We’re seeking a Senior Customer Success Manager to own post-sale onboarding, campaign execution, and long-term growth for advertisers on the beehiiv Ad Network. You’ll partner closely with Sales and Network Performance to ensure every advertiser launches successfully, achieves strong results, and renews consistently.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of Customer Success experience, ideally within an ad network, media platform, or digital advertising environment
  • Experience with customer onboarding, campaign set-ups, and coordination with advertisers.
  • Proven ability to manage advertiser relationships and deliver strong client outcomes
  • Experience building and managing a robust book of business and driving performance through strong operational rigor and sales acumen.
  • Identify upsell, proactively analyzing performance data, and ensuring campaigns deliver as expected and accounts grow predictably and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication, listening, writing, and time-management skills
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with sales, performance, and product teams
  • A track record of solving client issues quickly and thoughtfully
  • Strong organizational chops — able to juggle multiple accounts and priorities
  • Genuine excitement about scaling a growing platform and improving processes
  • An ownership mentality with a bias toward action and proactive communication
  • Empathetic, thoughtful communicator who knows how to build trust
  • Process-oriented and detail-obsessed — no loose ends

Responsibilities

  • Own onboarding and campaign setup coordination for new advertisers
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day communication
  • Build reporting decks, insights, and proactive updates throughout each campaign
  • Monitor performance daily and escalate issues to the Performance team as needed
  • Partner with the Network Performance team to build and implement advertiser-specific optimizations
  • Lead end-of-flight reviews, present results, and tee up renewal conversations
  • Identify upsell opportunities and grow your book of business
  • Maintain accurate documentation and CRM hygiene to ensure seamless handoffs
  • Reduce escalations through proactive communication and tight campaign management
