Trinity Rail is hiring a Senior Custodian at our Jonesboro plant.

The Senior Custodian position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who does not stray away from a challenge. As a member of the team at Trinity, you’ll keep building and work areas in a clan and orderly condition performing any combination of duties, including sweeping, mopping, washing, cleaning and removing trash from building and work areas. You will perform minor and routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning light fixtures, changing light bulbs and replacing necessary components. You will maintain grounds by mowing, watering, edging lawns, planting and trimming flowers, shrubs and trees, as well as any other duties that may be assigned.
In this role, the Senior Custodian will be expected to comply with all company safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations. This includes maintaining and completing all required records, following all safety rules and practices. This position may be involved in safety committees, or initiatives.

Requirements

• High School diploma, or equivalent
• Ability to read and write
• Effective communication skills
• Basic computer skills to include MS Office Suite

Nice To Haves

• Custodian experience with demonstrated proficiency in office, manufacturing environment and/or maintenance facility preferred.
