UCI Health is the clinical enterprise of the University of California, Irvine, and the only academic health system based in Orange County. UCI Health is comprised of its main campus, UCI Medical Center, a 459-bed, acute care hospital in Orange, California, four hospitals and affiliated physicians of the UCI Health Community Network in Orange and Los Angeles counties, and ambulatory care centers across the region. The Senior Custodian performs skilled and semi-skilled cleaning, housekeeping, and general maintenance duties in acute and non-acute in-patient, out-patient, and non-patient areas. This role requires exercising care and caution in the use of supplies and equipment while performing custodial tasks, including resilient tile and carpet care maintenance tasks such as stripping, waxing, and carpet extraction/shampooing. Other various related housekeeping duties may be performed as assigned.
