About The Position

Provide quality Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to the required protocol standards. Performs Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician; provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines. Administration of CT Contrast per protocol. IV Competency. Cardiac Imaging Competency. Acting as liaison to physician and supportive care personnel. Leads department operations and staff. Acts as liaison to Imaging leadership. Participation in system Imaging Committees. Intravenous (IV) Competency required.

Requirements

  • ALD Radiologic Sciences or Trade school certificate
  • ARRT required
  • CT required
  • 2 years CT experience
  • Intravenous (IV) Competency required
  • Cardiac Imaging Competency
