Senior CT Technologist - CT Scan

About The Position

Description Performs a variety of CT procedures for diagnostic purposes in accordance with department, hospital, and regulatory agency standards. Instructs and prepares patients of any age group for CT scan procedures by interviewing patients, in detail, regarding medical history. Able to push, pull and lift 50lbs as required to perform daily activities. Obtains signed consent for procedure. Assist Radiologist in sterile procedures such as biopsies, drainage, aspirations, and facet injections. Participates in call back and weekend rotation as needed. Responsible for special projects i.e. protocol management, protocol education and training of staff and students, software upgrade assistance, representation on special committees, etc. Assists with creating and finalizing staff work schedules. Coordinates daily staffing workflow and triaging of patients. Responsible for supplies and par levels needed for patient care. Provides required records/documentation to meet regulatory requirements. Completes required organizational and regulatory education and training as required for role. Strives for the highest level of customer service. Requirements

  • Degree in Radiologic Technology from an approved AMA school, Or Certificate in Radiologic Technology or equivalent from an approved AMA school.
  • Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography Or Upon hire: National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
  • 3 years Post-certification CT experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree Or Master's Degree
  • Coursework/Training in Lean management.
  • Coursework/Training/education specific to management concepts.
  • 5 years CT experience.
  • 1 year Leadership experience.
