About The Position

Roku is seeking a Senior CRM Solutions Architect to develop and implement data-driven templating and personalization solutions that enhance our suite of automated marketing communications. This role bridges the gap between marketing strategy and technical execution, translating business objectives into scalable, dynamic messaging experiences across email, push, and in-app channels. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in CRM systems, marketing automation, and front-end development, with a passion for building modular, reusable frameworks that drive personalization and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent experience with demonstrated technical proficiency.
  • 5+ years of experience implementing marketing-driven CRM solutions, with strong front-end coding skills (HTML, Liquid, JSON) and CRM database fundamentals.
  • Proven ability to build modular, data-driven notification templates that support dynamic personalization across email, push, and in-app channels.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-level ESPs and CRM platforms such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Iterable, including high-volume database environments.
  • Proficiency in SQL for audience segmentation and relational database querying.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Experience designing and deploying CRM solutions in fast-paced, product-led organizations using agile methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Working alongside the CRM Operations team to design and implement scalable CRM solutions that enhance automated marketing communications.
  • Develop dynamic, templatized notifications (email, push, in-app) using enterprise-level ESPs and proprietary CRM tools, leveraging HTML, Liquid, and JSON.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and teams across Lifecycle, Product, and Engineering to ensure seamless data integration and payload delivery for CRM campaigns.
  • Integrate data from APIs and upstream payloads to drive decision-making logic and populate personalized content in real-time.
  • Architect CRM messaging that supports personalization, automation, and lifecycle marketing strategies.
  • Ensure CRM templates follow standardized, reusable coding practices to streamline operational efficiency and reduce production time.
  • Analyze campaign inputs, including subscriber data, frequency, prioritization, and personalization tactics, to inform scalable CRM solutions.
  • Lead technical discovery and solutioning for new CRM initiatives, including evaluating tools, technologies, and implementation strategies.
