In this role, you’ll be responsible for gathering data for established reports, supporting cash application processes, funding contracts, and handling sales-related discounts. We’re seeking an individual who takes satisfaction in processing data, preparing reports, and providing excellent support to both internal and external customers.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Business, Finance or other related field with three years relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Understanding of intermediate accounting principles and business terminology including advanced Microsoft Office skills with emphasis in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Administer and reconcile transactions on a consistent basis to administer payment processing, coordinate the transmission of data, generate various inbound and outbound interfaces or reports as per company and legislative policies.
• Field general credit inquiries by phone, in person or through written communication, identifying areas of opportunity and suggesting solutions.
• Assist with projects as needed including, but not limited to, data mining, creating models for decision support, reporting, and system enhancements, upgrades, and user acceptance testing.
• Process associated funding of assets, vendor payments or equipment discounts, providing input for optimization of accomplishing the financial objectives of the department or company.
