About The Position
We are seeking a strong Senior Credit Analyst to join our Finance team in Downtown Los Angeles. This role offers hands-on ownership of credit and accounts receivable activities, with scope aligned to the experience of the individual hired. This position is ideal for a commercial credit professional who exercises sound judgment, partners well across teams, and thrives in a fully on-site environment. Full-time, on-site role required.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of commercial credit and collections experience (B2B)
- Strong financial statement and credit risk analysis skills
- Knowledge of credit law and collections practices
- Confident communicator with solid negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP or similar financial systems
Nice To Haves
- Leadership or mentoring experience a plus
- Bilingual a plus
Responsibilities
- Analyze credit risk and approve credit limits and terms
- Manage an A/R portfolio, including aged and high-risk accounts
- Administer payment plans, notes receivable, UCC filings, and collection escalations
- Partner with Sales and Finance to resolve credit issues and support cash flow
- Lead regular credit reviews and provide recommendations
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audits, and SOX requirements
- Improve credit and collections processes and reporting
