The Sr. Credit Administration Analyst ensures the Credit Analyst function fulfills its role in assisting the Commercial Banking group in making and documenting sound lending decisions.

Requirements

  • Must possess sufficient education and/or experience to understand and evaluate complex financial statements, tax returns, and commercial real estate appraisals
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality
  • Previous lending experience, loan underwriting experience, and/or education necessary to evaluate elements of credit risk including a thorough understanding of LNB Loan Policy and all regulatory guidelines related commercial lending.
  • Technical skills necessary to evaluate and manage software resources used by the credit administration department

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight for all aspects of the Credit Administration department
  • Direct supervision of the Credit Analyst staff.
  • Hold team accountable for fulfilling its role in assisting the Commercial Banking group in making and documenting sound lending decisions.
  • Provide oversight of the process of obtaining real estate valuations, for consumer and commercial loans in accordance with all regulatory and LNB policy guidelines.
  • As needed, depending on staffing and workflow, assist analyst team with daily activities including financial spreads, appraisals, real estate valuations, and loan approval reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all LNB policies and regulatory guidelines related to consumer and commercial real estate valuations
  • Provide material support to the Chief Credit Officer in preparation of the quarterly Allowance for Loan and Lease Loss reserve calculation and other management reporting related to the lending and credit risk functions.
  • Oversee all management reports prepared by the Credit Administration department.
  • Supervise, train, coach, and develop your team of associates, including utilizing the Quarterly Job Progress Plan and other performance development processes and reviews.
  • Manage your professional improvement through the utilization of the Quarterly Job Progress Plan.
  • Responsible for performance counseling, including making and recommending disciplinary action decisions.
  • Utilize prescribed hiring process to select team members.
  • Engage in and initiate Landmark National Bank Culture initiatives and team success activities, including Huddles and Celebration events.
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
  • Adhere to bank policies and procedures.
