About The Position

Senior Counsel works closely with the project teams to ensure compliance with company policies and programs, to identify and resolve issues and disputes, and otherwise provides advice concerning legal rights, obligations, and privileges of the company. Requirements

  • College Degree & J.D. from a law school of recognized standing
  • Member of a State Bar
  • At least seven (7) years of legal experience either at a reputable law firm or in-house
  • Experience with drafting legal documents and negotiating contracts
  • Decision making, research and analytical problem solving skills
  • Time management with the ability to organize, assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands, and to work independently
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and interact effectively at all levels within the organization
  • MS Office – Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook experience

Nice To Haves

  • Prior litigation/arbitration experience preferred
  • Legal Experience in Construction strongly preferred
