About The Position
Cox Enterprises is currently looking for a Senior Counsel to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. The Senior Counsel serves as a legal partner for the Commercial Business Unit of Cox Communications which includes, Cox Business, RapidScale, Hospitality Network, and BluePrint RF, with total annual revenues of approximately $3.5+ Billion. This individual will be responsible for providing expert and strategic legal advice to sales business leaders and for supporting collaboration across multiple business groups and practice areas. The role will be a trusted advisor, deal negotiator, and partner to multiple fast-paced and sophisticated sales teams. The qualified candidate must be able to address a wide range of transactional and commercial matters that affect day-to-day business operations, including drafting, negotiating, and interpreting commercial contracts, advising on business strategy, collaborating with various Cox attorneys (that specialize in litigation, compliance, labor and employment, intellectual property, etc.), and offering general legal support to the business. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in commercial contracts, general corporate matters, and counseling business leaders across a wide range of transactional matters. The position involves regular interaction with the Vice-President, Legal, other members of the Cox Law & Policy team, and business leaders.
