About The Position

AtkinsRéalis USA Inc. seeks Senior Cost Manager in Tampa, FL: Review and issue cost reports to the construction team. Review the cash flow and issues, with the cost report, to the client’s finance/construction team. Review all change orders in accordance with the client’s approval process. Ensure all invoices are being processed by the cost team. Provide procurement services for the client where applicable for construction and engineering services, including preparing RFP and bid analysis. Where applicable, overview and report to the client on contractor buyout of subcontract bid packages. Lead the bi-weekly cost meetings to review procurement status and change order status with the contractors and engineering teams. Provide cost information on value engineering analysis. Carry out an earned value analysis of projects on a periodic basis. Review the contractors close out administration and ensures that they meet their contractual requirements. With minimal supervision and where necessary, assists the client with any cost information relating to legal issues due to non performance by the contractors or engineering services and mechanical liens etc.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Structural), Economics, Construction, or Quantity Surveying and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Knowledge of: Administration of construction contracts for liens and AIA contracts; Procurement and tendering; Design economics; Cost analysis and benchmarking; Project financial and cost reporting; Cost Estimating; Building Construction Technology, Elements, and United States Internation Building Codes (IBC); Quantity takeoff and New Rules of Measurement; Change Management; Reviewing Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) Contract and negotiation; Construction economics (construction network platform); and, CostX, AutoCAD, CAD Measure, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam.
May be assigned to unanticipated work locations throughout the United States.
Remote working or telecommuting permitted in all U.S. States, in accordance with company policy.
Relocation to within a reasonable commuting distance of the job location required.
