About The Position

The Senior Cost Accountant serves as a strategic finance partner at Omni International's manufacturing site in Kennesaw, Georgia. This onsite position combines operations finance, cost accounting, and customer billing responsibilities to support our manufacturing operations. This position leads site-level cost accounting while providing critical manufacturing support, financial reporting, and revenue management. Key responsibilities include directing the establishment and maintenance of corporate accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate fiscal records and timely financial reporting. The role encompasses developing and maintaining comprehensive planning and budgeting systems, managing site billing operations, and overseeing revenue reporting processes. The Senior Cost Accountant analyzes and interprets financial trends and operating results, evaluating costs, budgets, policies, and profit opportunities. They present findings and strategic recommendations to executive leadership to drive informed decision-making. Additionally, this position establishes robust procedures and internal controls to ensure full compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and corporate governance standards. This onsite role requires a blend of technical accounting expertise, operational finance acumen, and strong analytical capabilities to support Omni International's manufacturing and business operations at our Kennesaw, Georgia facility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree AND a minimum of five years' experience in accounting within the manufacturing industry

  • Specialized Software Knowledge: Experience with QuickBooks accounting software and Crystal Reports for custom reporting and data analysis
